“My Dog Skip” (2000) was one of my favorite movies growing up. I had always wanted a dog, and this movie made me want one even more. For those of you that have a puppy, you will giggle at all the trouble Skip makes. I still rewatch it from time to time, and it makes me feel like a kid again. My Dog Skip is based on a true story and is a coming of age story about a shy boy, and all he wants for his birthday is a dog.
This movie is full of fun and heartwarming and heartbreaking moments as Willie and his dog Skip grow up together. This movie will leave you smiling, shedding a few tears, and wanting to share it with your whole family.
