For a long time, I didn’t enjoy reading. I liked to read as a kid but as I got older, I didn’t enjoy it nearly as much as I did when I was younger.
One thing I really did enjoy was a movie with a dog in it. One day I saw the trailer to “A Dog’s Purpose,” and I was really interested. Soon after I realized it was based on a book, and I told my Mom, “If you get me this book, I’ll read it.”
After I got it, I enjoyed it so much, I read six chapters in one night. There were several reasons I enjoyed it. Instead of the book and movie being from the point of view of a person, it was from the point of view of a dog. It’s like the author knew what was going though a dog’s mind. Another reason I enjoyed it is because the book and movie actually had a happy ending, but you’ll have to read it to know how it gets there!
